I am so looking
forward to the upcoming six episode "The X Files: Re-Opening".
It has had
considerable promotion and one I enjoyed particularly was a short
interview with Gillan Anderson. She is asked about the chemistry
between her and David Duchovny.
This is her answer:
"It's got
nothing to do with us. It is beyond. it existed there through the
years of us being mad at each other, not talking to each other.
Whatever was going on with us, it was there and tangible.
It materializes. It
precedes us. Does it purely exist so that the show can exist? Maybe."
That's pretty
woo-woo right?
I think that an
entire episode of The X Files could be devoted to the topic.
Chemistry between characters when the actors are barely speaking. I
am sure that factor is not unique to Gillian Anderson and David
Duchovny.
Do the lives of
those in television series really exist in some alternate reality?
