I swear this is true - in the early 90's my writing partner and I did a "what if" fest about a guy in Scotland who persists through time...etc., etc., kilt, sword et al, and then I went home that night, and turned on the television - and lo!
There was the movie, and now there are more as well as a television series. There is also the outline for a different story (by us) about a Scot, his daughter, some time and space jumping, which I hope one day will appear on the big screen for you!
